C A R E = CA-ring others & RE-aching out! No man is an island! Living in a fast-paced and competitive city such as Vancouver offers us advantages as well as disadvantages. On one side it has the capability in providing us with a lot of good things. On the other side, along with that capability come challenges that we have to face everyday from school, work, family and relationships. There is no doubt that? 'All things work together for our good' (Romans 8:28) -- that challenges are there for the very purpose of doing something good at the end. Yet we have to admit that at many times, they can be so overwhelming that they can push us down to the point of breaking down in pieces. It is hard enough to go through life with those challenges, let alone to do it by our own selves!

We need one another as much as we need God. It is unfortunate that the value of friendship has been deteriorating that we begin to abandon our trust with our fellow human beings. And at the end we would unconsciously form an? Individualistic society -- a society that depends on? Myself. We have to remember that while it is true that other people can (and will always) let us down, but there is no denying that we live in this world to care and support one another!

The value of trust, care, and support that are based on the love of Christ need to be restored, and those values are what CARE CELL is all about. CARE CELL holds an essential part as we share burdens, support one another, and most importantly, experience God's favor happening in our lives. All these while having fun at the same time!
